St. Joseph's Academy experienced a new beginning on Monday, August 31, 2009 in our beautifully renovated buildings. SJA"s new campus allows for the expansion of our art and music programs, green space for our sports programs, opportunities for individualized and differentiated learning, and space for state-of-the-art science and technology labs. Our location continues to be a part of the downtown neighborhood where we can develop community partnerships and most importantly, continue quality education in a Catholic environment.

SJA faculty promotes a Christ-centered environment which fosters the total formation of each child. Our philosophy is founded on the four principles of; Gospel, Message, Community, and Service.  Catholic education is Christian value-centered and teaches students by guiding them to share their God given talents, treasure and time with their family, friends, neighbors and community.

We celebrate and encourage uniqueness, differences, learning preferences, and individual needs. Our teachers strive to achieve uniform outcomes for curriculum content through diversified means of instruction, building on strengths and developing weaknesses. SJA strives to promote a love of learning in order to prepare students as life-long learners and stewards of this world.

We are able to provide quality education because of open communication, high expectations, a positive climate and morale, commitment to community and parents, talented caring professionals, the guidance of the Diocese of Orlando, Office of Schools, and our Pastor, Monsignor John Caulfield, who models Christ's love for the children daily.

We invite you to experience the family of St. Joseph's Academy.

Sincerely yours in Christ,

Lana Swartzwelder
