Liz Palmer is a life-long member of St. Joseph's Parish. She attended and graduated from St. Joseph's School. In fact, St. Joseph's has been in her family for many years, as her own mother was a teacher here in the 1970s. Coach Palmer enjoys her job and really loves the fact that she can teach where two of her children attend school.

Coach Palmer has more than 20 years of teaching experience. She taught in the Polk County public schools for 12 years and has been at St. Joseph's for more than 10 years. She is the P.E. teacher for Pre-K through 5th grades and Dean of Students, dealing with discipline issues. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education from the Unversity of Florida. Coach Palmer also has her Advanced/Master Level Certification through the Diocese of Orlando Catechist Program.

She is married to Tom Palmer and they have three daughters: Alison, Haley and Ansley.
