Mission Statement

St. Joseph's Academy, a Pre-K to 8th grade ministry of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lakeland, challenges each student to achieve academic excellence and to live the Gospel message in the school, the community and the world.

Educational Objectives:

• We will strive to ensure that our school is an integral part of the Church's mission to proclaim the gospel, build a faith community, celebrate through worship and serve others to the best of our ability.
• We will challenge the administration, faculty, staff, students and school families to witness to their beliefs in Jesus Christ.
• We will continue to strive for academic excellence in a supportive and challenging environment,while affirming the dignity of each person in our school community.
• We will commit ourselves to teaching a curriculum integrated and rooted in Gospel values and Catholic teachings.
• We will continue to welcome all those who can serve and who seek to share in our spiritual and educational vision.
• We will strive to develop a love of our country and of the values and morals which make it strong, as well as a global vision for a peaceful world.
