St. Joseph's Catholic School, a Prek to 8th grade ministry of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lakeland, challenges each student to achieve academic excellence and to live the Gospel message in the school, the community and the world.
This mission will be accomplished in a Christ-centered environment that challenges students to be creative and critical thinkers, fostering intellectual achievement and promoting athletic, cultural, and social development.
We celebrate and encourage uniqueness, differences, learning preferences, and individual needs. Our teachers strive to achieve uniform outcomes for curriculum content through diversified means of instruction, building on strengths and developing weaknesses.
Our school provides quality and excellence in learning and teaching because of open communication, high expectations, positive climate and morale, commitment of community and parents and talented caring professionals and state-of-art technology.
St. Joseph’s is celebrating 70 years of Catholic education and the school will be relocating in summer of 2009. We stand tall on the shoulders of those that have gone before us. Now, in our new beginnings, in our new location in the shadow of the swans on Lake Morton, we ask God for the wisdom, guidance, and resources that we need in the formation of His children.
