Colleen was originally from NY and moved to Lakeland Florida to attend Florida Southern College. She received  a degree in Primary and Elementary Education. She has worked for the Polk County School Board for 12 years teaching 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade. She has been teaching for 13 years and voted Teacher of the Year while at Dixieland Elementary. Colleen has been involved in our school PTO as past and current President. Colleen is thankful for the opportunity to teach here where 2 of her sons attend school.
