Kathy Fezzie was born and raised in Florida and has lived in Lakeland for 35 years. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida in 1989 and a Masters in Reading Education from St. Leo University in 2011. She is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She and her husband, Carmen, have been married for 19 years and have four wonderful children, Dominic , Madeline, Elizabeth, and Catherine. This is her seventh year teaching second grade at St. Joseph's Academy.

She feels blessed to have been called to teach and especially grateful to have the opportunity to teach at St. Joseph's Academy. She looks forward, with enthusiasm, to the many exciting changes occurring at St. Joseph's Academy and is happy to be able to get to know so many great people along the way.
