Marcia Boatner was born and raised in Lakeland, Florida. After high school graduation, she worked from 1974 to 1990 at the City of Lakeland Police Department. She worked in the Office of the Chief of Police as an administrative Business Secretary. She has worked as an Instructional Assistant in Kindergarten. After receiving her teaching degree, Mrs. Boatner has taught Kindergarten at St. Anthony Catholic School as well St. Joseph Catholic School. She has been married to Roger Boatner since 1978 and they have a daughter in college, Emily Elizabeth Boatner, who is a graduate of St. Joseph Catholic School as well as Santa Fe Catholic High School (Go Hawks!). She has been teaching K at SJA for 8 years. Mrs. Boatner loves "her world" with the children and feels blessed everday that she is with them.

A.A. - Polk Community College

Mrs. Boatner is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and is also a member of the Legion of Mary.
