Wilmarie Alvarado moved to Lakeland to be with her family in 2006 and began her Lakeland teaching career in 2nd grade at Edgar Padgett Elementary. Before moving to Lakeland she taught elementary grades in Bronx, New York from 2000-2006.

Bachelor of Arts in Psychology
Master of Education in Elementary Education

She is married to Juan Alvarado and they have a new son, Juan Alvarado Jr. Mrs. Alvarado is excited to have the opportunity to teach in a Catholic school because she believes that her Catholic education gave her the values and education to become the woman she is today. She attended Catholic elementary school and graduated from Catholic high school.
