St. Joseph's Academy is offering FREE Voluntary Pre-K (VPK)

Summer VPK is from June 14-July 30: Class schedules: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm 8:00 am to 11:00 am 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm

Fall VPK begins August 23rd. Morning classes will be from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. And afternoon classes will be from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm.

5 Easy Steps to VPK Registration for the Program: (Child must be 4 years old on or before September; birth date between 9/2/05 and 9/1/06 for the 2010-2011 program)

1. Complete and sign the VPK application (Go to www.elcpolk.org and on the Home page at the bottom click the star that says VPK and the application is on that page.)

2. Bring . . .

• Copy of proof of child's age (Examples: Birth Certificate, Passport)
• Copy of proof of Florida residency (Examples: utility bill, driver's license, etc)

Proof must match name and physical address on your VPK application.

3. Bring the signed application and documents to:

4. If application is complete, a certificate may be given immediately.

5. Contact St. Joseph's Academy to register for classes that begin on January 25 and end June 8. If your child has not been in a VPK program then he or she must attend from 8:00-3:00. If your child has attended VPK this year then he or she is required to attend from 8:00-11:00. The total program for VPK that is paid for by the State is 540 hours.
